item upgrader and Components
A special item can be used to develop certain Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide attributes or other bonuses when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Some upgrade items have special effects that appear when they are used. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and used as rewards.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each providing various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on legendary and non-amulet items, and enrichments can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. Injecting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia will change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures and fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters, as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dashes, registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. It also includes up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a window with the Glyphs that are available to you. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and each weapon, jewelry or armor piece has an array of different Glyphs.
Glyphs can be leveled up by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph attains level 15, it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated bonus, and also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonus in the event that certain conditions are satisfied.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of views. Each view shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further using an option under "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing an account on a different account to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you want. This is done to for you to increase your level faster or to get better loot such as a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters that they like regardless of their strength. This could be because they like the character's style or their personality.
When you reroll, you need to make sure that the changes you're making are clean. You should verify locally if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue using an unmodified diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can be weeks or days long, depending on how lucky you are. To speed up the process avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When you reroll, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also crucial to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling is not a necessary part of the game, but it can be helpful to increase your chances of getting an item or character. It is a great option when you're trying to find the most effective character to play or if you're looking to try different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection that has two common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations like intersection, union and difference.
If you upgrade a set item, it becomes an upgraded version that is superior to the previous one. For armor and weapons this means it will gain an increase in the base defense, less strength requirements and an lower requirement for level.
Upgrading is an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.
However, it's important to note that not all set items are candidates for upgradation. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Elite and Exceptional in their own right and don't need upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may be benefited by an upgrade to increase their value. item upgrading may be worth it to upgrade these items.
